Key Features

  • Multi-Port Connectivity:
    • HDMI Output: Connects to your primary display.
    • HDMI 1 Host: Links to the main computer's GPU.
    • HDMI 2 Secondary: Connects to the secondary computer's GPU.
    • Type-C Port: For firmware upgrades and EDID injection (used only during updates).
    • DC 12V: Power supply (12V 2A included).
  • Important Note: The host GPU should not be directly connected to the main monitor with a DP or HDMI cable. Disconnect any such connections before setup.

Indicators:

  • D1: Power indicator (steady light when powered on).
  • D2: Fusion function on/off indicator.
  • H2: HDMI 2 input signal indicator (steady light for normal, off for no signal).
  • H1: HDMI 1 input signal indicator (steady light for normal, off for no signal).

Button Functions:

  • Power: Turns the unit on or off.
  • K1: Cycle through resolutions (1920 x 1080, 2560 x 1440, 3840 x 2460, 2560 x 1080, 3440 x 1440).
    • Hold K1 for 3 seconds to display current resolution and refresh rate on-screen.
  • K2: Adjust upper layer image matting intensity (21 levels, from 0 to 20).
  • K3: Reset matting intensity to factory default (0).
  • K4: Toggle the fusion function on/off.
    • If the fusion function doesn’t work, try setting the secondary unit’s background color to pure black or adjust the RGB value using K2.

Additional Features:

  • Plug and play, automatic standby, memory storage, temperature-controlled cooling, original picture output, and ultra-low latency.

EDID Injection Process:

  1. Read Monitor EDID:

    • Connect the GPU directly to the main display with an HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 cable.
    • Install and run MonitorAssetManager (mi_setup.exe) to read and save the EDID Bin file.
  2. Inject EDID into DMA Box:

    • Connect the DMA box via Type-C to the computer.
    • Use the injector tool, select the correct serial port, load the saved Bin file, and inject parameters.
    • After injection, unplug the Type-C cable and ensure the HDMI connection to the main display remains.
